About

Jessica is a dancer, dance teacher, and choreographer based in South Texas. She grew up dancing on an elite dance competition team in the Kansas City area while also dancing in musical productions and summer ballet intensives with the Kansas City Ballet School. She studied under former Principal dancers with the Joffrey Ballet and Tulsa Ballet.

In college, she joined the National Champion Baker University Collegiate Dance Team, where she helped her team win and place at numerous competitions.

Jessica recently began performing again with the Corpus Christi Ballet and the Harbor Playhouse. She has enjoyed the opportunity to take the stage again as a dancer in productions such as The Nutcracker, Sleeping Beauty, Cinderella, and Swan Lake. With Harbor Playhouse, she has recently made her debut as “Dancing Laurey” in Rodger’s and Hammerstein’s Oklahoma! and “Sherrie Christian” in Rock of Ages. She looks forward to more productions with both companies!

Jessica is an award-winning choreographer, with dancers and pieces that have been awarded by numerous judges at competitions, including multiple National Champions. She has choreographed pieces for dance festivals, dance companies, and community theaters in her area.

As a teacher, Jessica enjoys teaching just about every genre! She has experience teaching all levels and ages of jazz, tap, lyrical, ballet, musical theater, and more! She is passionate about melding the athlete and artist within her students and works to create a safe space for everyone in her classes.
